Big woofs, Little woofs... Midwoofs? o.o

So the clock is ticking, Rafferty is due any day now! Better brush up on our "midwoofery" skills eh!
She settled into her whelping box nicely and all our supplies are ordered, due infact to arrive over the next 2 days :)
It's a waiting game now, so fingers crossed everyone, we'll be sure to update as soon as we know anything new ^^


Oh and between you, us and the blogpost, 3 may become 4... o.o
Call it sentimentality (with emphasis on the mental!), but the idea of not keeping back one of the first Hilton puppies seems a tad unthinkable, but nothing is set in stone yet :)

Note; For anyone concerned (or being picky) I'll have both my mother on hand (who breeds, shows and grooms) and either Simon or Marie, both of whom have many years of experience with toy breeds and chihuahuas specifically in Maries case (you may remember her as Monroes breeder) :) We have a vetinary practice close by and have informed them of Raffertys pregnancy, should we have to use their services, in or out of hours. We're as prepared as we can be! (Plus myself and Jonny have been present at labours before and have helped with hand feeding, so all should be well.)

(Heart)beat agaaain! ♫

So we're all super excited here at home with the Hiltons, as you may or may not know, Miss Rafferty is expecting! She's due September 9th :) We're expecting 2 - 3 puppies, from the feel of things :)

So all was well and dandy, but today the most amazing thing happened! We felt a tiny little baby heartbeat!!! It only lasted a few seconds and it was the faintest little flutter, in a spot about the size of 3/4 your little finger nail, but the feel of it was totally unmistakable! It was incredible and we all had to wipe away a little tear :')

Congratulations (in advance) to Rafferty, The Best Mummy (to be) In The World! ♥

Moving Madness!

Sorry for not posting in forever, but the Hilton household has been crazy these past 2 weeks, with sorting out the big move! We'll let you know more as soon as possible ^^

We only have time for a quick update for now, so in recent news, Rafferty is doing fine, she seems to have a touch of morning sickness, so fingers crossed she is pregnant :)

Monroe is virtually all grown up now, she's losing her baby teeth and has mastered the sofa!!!
Big news as she's been trying for weeks!

Buffy is well and happy, albeit a little bit bullied but nothing serious bless her, she still rules the roost, she just rules it with an impish sidekick who likes to chew ear fur! (Monroe).

And that's really all we have to say right now!
We'll do a quick picture post and nag at daddy to get on with his blog!

Beyond that, who knows, hoping to be moving really soon, so expect lots of posts about the new house and maybe pictures of the girls in their new castle!

Happy Birthday and a a quick update!

Sorry we haven't posted in a while, had loads to do!

Not least Mummy's Birthday was yesterday, so we've had a busy (but fun) few days :)
Happy 18th Birthday Mummy! :P
We've been visiting lots of people and had lots of people to see us, and we love a party, because parties mean party food and because no one can resist us, so we always get lots of it too!

Now, some quick news bulletin style updates;

We're moving again! In the next 2 months probably, so it's busy busy busy in our house right now, lots of phone calls, packing and decision making!

Mummy mentioned a while back that 3 may become 4, with the arrival of a KC smooth coat little girl, well the mummy doggie is pregnant, she's around 3 weeks now :) So not too long and we'll have more info hopefully!

And on that note, Miss Rafferty has a "date" next Wednesday, with Mr Sugar *wolf whistle*.
We'll be sure to update about how that goes, and we'll post special "Mummy To Be" updates (with plenty of pics) if all goes as planned ;)

We've been thinking of adding a "Daddy's Corner" to "AHWTH", opinions anyone?
