A Dachshund Day!

"It was mamma's birthday yesterday, so she came to visit us and get all her presents. When she came, she bought great mamma with her and 2 of her fur kids! It was lovely to see her and great mamma, but by far the best bit was playing with our new best friends, Bug and Sammy!"

The girls enjoyed playing with Sammy and Bug, even if Bug especially was a little bigger than them ;)

How rude Rafferty! 

 Just kidding, she was asking for a lick of some nummy food no doubt! ;D

We've been neglecting our posting a little the past few days, had some things on with Lily finally getting her 2nd jab, Rafferty getting her booster shot, sorting for Monroe and Lily to get micro chipped in a week or 2 plus seeing people and all the usual!

The rainbow rubber ring finally came! Aaaand none of them like it -.-

Not even Buffy... Typical we know. 

They're all in love with Mr. Octopus, the headless kong zebra, and their various rope tug toys right now, but we'll see in a few weeks when we're planning to order some more things!

Also, there's been talk of another addition after it didn't work out with Rae, this time we will be sticking by our breed, our girls just don't handle bigger pups! 

It's a shame, but they have to come first and we love our 4 Hilton chi's :)

We'll do a blog post once we know more, all we can really say is we are looking at one but she's only about 10 days old now, so our details are limited, one thing we can say is she'll be Monroe and Lily's half sister (Sugar is their daddy)... 

But we'll post more about her as time goes by!

We snatched a few pics of Alfie as promised, he (and ofc Lily) are coming up 5 months old now! 

We can hardly believe how time has flown...

Incredible how much he's changed, we still think he's a cutie, although we might be a little bit biased ;)

Just a quick BB blog post to say...

That we're all doing well :)

Lily and Alfie had their 3 week 'birthday' on Sunday, they've started on 'proper' food of mushed up rusks :)
So far they're doing well, getting stuck in, literally! Messy tykes ^^

They (along with mummy Rafferty) went to see the vet Monday and all got a clean bill of health :)
The vet actually commented on how well the puppies were doing, so proud grins all round xD

We've also cracked open the Sherleys worming syrup for the puppies and have given the big girls their dose of Panacur, so we're sorted on the worming front for 2 weeks now at any rate :)

That's all our news for now really, we've been taking tons of pictures, which we'll post on the 1st, as soon as the internet is running again!

Moving Madness!

Sorry for not posting in forever, but the Hilton household has been crazy these past 2 weeks, with sorting out the big move! We'll let you know more as soon as possible ^^

We only have time for a quick update for now, so in recent news, Rafferty is doing fine, she seems to have a touch of morning sickness, so fingers crossed she is pregnant :)

Monroe is virtually all grown up now, she's losing her baby teeth and has mastered the sofa!!!
Big news as she's been trying for weeks!

Buffy is well and happy, albeit a little bit bullied but nothing serious bless her, she still rules the roost, she just rules it with an impish sidekick who likes to chew ear fur! (Monroe).

And that's really all we have to say right now!
We'll do a quick picture post and nag at daddy to get on with his blog!

Beyond that, who knows, hoping to be moving really soon, so expect lots of posts about the new house and maybe pictures of the girls in their new castle!

The Charmed Life!

We thought we'd do a short post, to show you Daddy's present to Mummy, which has finally arrived! :)

It's a silver chihuahua charm necklace! He also brought 5 interchangeable Swarovski crystal charms to go with it (see the pink one in the picture) :) Mummy loves it ^^ We'll update this post with some more pics of it later :)

In other news, Daddy should be posting his first blog entry tonight, so fingers crossed it goes down well ^^

So time is passing and Monroe is growing up, she's nearly 4 months old now and the other day we noticed the most curious thing! Monroe (and there's no denying it) has absolutely huge paws! They are actually a little bit ridiculous xD

Daddys Corner!

Busy Bees!

So we've all been busy busy busy the past few days here at the Hilton household!

We had God Mummy Emma and God Daddy Chris over for a BBQ Sunday, which ended in lots of yummy treats for all the girls, then today we've been at the vets for Monroe's second injection!
Which means, dun dun duuun, 1 week from now everyone had better watch out, as Monroe will be able to go walkies! Yayy!
We made the appointment for her last jab, but that's a whole 6 weeks away.

Raffertys "date" is drawing closer, 2 days to go! :O
Every Hilton finger, toe and whisker is tightly crossed for her!

We've all just had some dinner, so we're relaxing now ready for tomorrow to unfold :)
Expecting a visit from Auntie Pippy, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Nicky, cue 3 very excited bundles of fur xD

We'll keep this short and sweet and update soon!

Happy Birthday and a a quick update!

Sorry we haven't posted in a while, had loads to do!

Not least Mummy's Birthday was yesterday, so we've had a busy (but fun) few days :)
Happy 18th Birthday Mummy! :P
We've been visiting lots of people and had lots of people to see us, and we love a party, because parties mean party food and because no one can resist us, so we always get lots of it too!

Now, some quick news bulletin style updates;

We're moving again! In the next 2 months probably, so it's busy busy busy in our house right now, lots of phone calls, packing and decision making!

Mummy mentioned a while back that 3 may become 4, with the arrival of a KC smooth coat little girl, well the mummy doggie is pregnant, she's around 3 weeks now :) So not too long and we'll have more info hopefully!

And on that note, Miss Rafferty has a "date" next Wednesday, with Mr Sugar *wolf whistle*.
We'll be sure to update about how that goes, and we'll post special "Mummy To Be" updates (with plenty of pics) if all goes as planned ;)

We've been thinking of adding a "Daddy's Corner" to "AHWTH", opinions anyone?

♪ ♫ Saturday, Sunday, happy days! ♪ ♫

This weekend has been very happy indeed so far!

Our good friends Emma and Chris came to visit Saturday, so we had plenty of fun with them :)

Then today, Granddad, Angie and Great Mamma all came over to see us ^^
It was lovely to see them all and they gave Daddy his birthday presents (early, cheeky cheeky) and we gave Granddad his Fathers Day present (ever earlier!), so it was smiles all round :)
Now Granddad has it, we can reveal what it was all along :)

It's a hand knitted "Aleksandr the meerkat" made by the lovely people behind the "Harry Hill knitted character"! :)

It went down very well, so a big pat on the back seems in order for Mummy ;D

Aside from all the fun, we thought we'd let you know that Monroe and Rafferty both made a very speedy recovery after their injections and that all is well with the Hiltons, big and little :)

Rafferty = Semi Finals Superstar!

Yayyy! Rafferty did it!

A while back, we made a post asking for votes to help Rafferty win a "cutest pets" competition...

Well something must've worked, because Rafferty is in the semi finals!

She will appear in the book and is now in the running for "cover pet"!

We're all very excited here at the Hilton household!

Well done Rafferty, you were always a winner in our eyes anyway ♡

Today is the day!

The day has come, dun dun duuun! 3pm today will we be at the vets!
Yes, it's the day of Monroe's first vaccination* :( (And Raffertys booster)

On another note, the girls have a new toy... Drum roll please, introducing.... Mr Octopus! :D

He's 2 feet wide, (leg to leg), his head makes a duck quack noise when squeezed, his legs crackle and his feet squeak too!
Buffy and Monroe are in love with him, Rafferty is a little indifferent haha, toys are below her ;)

We'll post a new video or two of everyone with him and maybe some pics later :)

That's right, you read the title correctly... 3 may become 4, sooner than expected!

Monroe's lovely breeder has insinuated a possible new furbaby for the Hilton family, not for around 3 months (maybe more) but we're all a flutter anyway!
We'll update as soon as we know more!
